Located just 11 miles from downtown Minneapolis, Blaine is a safe, close-knit community with all the amenities of an major urban area.

 Being in central Minnesota, Blaine experiences four distinct seasons that offer a variety of outdoor activities for everyone. Blaine has over 60 parks with 50 miles of trail and trail corridors that interconnect parks, schools and open spaces. Blaine’s parks include a 500 acre Wetland Sanctuary, a free dog park, two lakes with opportunities for kayak and canoe rentals and a beach. Blaine has over a dozen indoor and outdoor ice rinks for skaters and hockey enthusiasts alike and provides close access to sledding hills, cross country and snow shoe trails.

Blaine has outdoor festivals and events all summer long including the Blaine Festival, World Fest, Music in the Park and Bark in the Park that are great for the entire family. Bluefield
