Ingleside

Ingleside is a Texas coastal town located on Corpus Christi Bay in the southeastern portion of San Patricio County. 

Praised for pleasant year-round weather, Ingleside’s ideal temperatures provide numerous outdoor recreational opportunities. At Dolphin Connection Ingleside, embark on a dolphin-sighting voyage, glimpsing pods of bottle-nosed dolphins. Tours depart from Ingleside Cove and travel along the Corpus Christi Channel and Pelican Island. Picnic, hike, bike or fish at one of Ingleside’s six community parks. Cove Park, a five-acre facility, offers direct access to both LaQuinta Channel and the Corpus Christi Bay. N.O. Simmons Park spans more than 13 acres and features a skate park, a mile-long fitness trail and seven soccer fields. Just minutes away, nestled in the Texas Gulf region, sunbathe, build sandcastles and swim at one of Corpus Christi’s beaches, including McGee Beach, North Beach, Mustang Island and North Padre Island. 

Take a break from the sun and visit the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History, which highlights more than 500 years of South Texas history. Explore exhibits featuring shipwrecks, prehistoric predators and prey, as well as coastal ecology. As night falls, head back to Cove Park and enjoy a gorgeous sunset overlooking the Corpus Christi Ship Channel before taking the kids to sleep tight story time at the Ingleside Public Library. 

A half-hour drive southwest, the Corpus Christi International Airport offers non-stop flights on three major airlines to many popular destinations. 

Keller

A northern suburb of Fort Worth, Keller lies within Tarrant County, a portion of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. 

Immerse yourself in one of two business districts, historic Old Town Keller or the Urban Keller Town Center, before exploring one of Keller’s 11 outdoor recreational areas spread across 336 acres. Walk one of several park trails while viewing sculptures within the Art in the Parks program. Discover artistic talent through the Keller Public Arts program, which contains 15 permanent sculptures and a changing art gallery at Keller Town Hall. Enjoy aquatics, athletics, fitness programs, and summer camps at The Keller Pointe, a family friendly recreational facility featuring a 16,970-square foot aquatics center, complete with indoor/outdoor pools, water slides, lazy rivers, and a splash pad. Check out Keller Notarium and join swimming or diving lessons, water aerobics, or lifeguard certification courses. 

Hungry from all that activity? Dine at unique, locally owned restaurants and enjoy a night on the town, whether it’s an after-dinner wine tasting or a couple’s dance class. 

Less than 30 minutes away, the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport offers flights to many popular destinations including Orlando, Fresno, Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix.

Mankato

As the county seat of Blue Earth County, Mankato is known as the Key City for its significance to industrial national, and international trade. Fans of the “Little House on the Prairie” books and television series may recognize the name of the town as the bigger city to which the family traveled from Walnut Grove. 

Today, Mankato is known for its outdoor recreational activities. Parks such as Minneopa State Park, Red Jacket Trail, Seven Mile Creek Park, and Reconciliation Park offer a variety of hiking, biking, and water activities. Snow ski enthusiasts enjoy the slopes in the winter at Mount Kato Ski Area. Plenty of offerings to keep children and families entertained include the Sibley Park Zoo, the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota, as well as many historical sites and museums. 

Adults can sample their favorite wines and beers at Javens Family Vineyard & Winery or Mankato Brewing. The Mogwai Collaborative is a workshare space that offers an open work area and private offices, meeting rooms, and networking opportunities. 

Located 75 miles from Mankato, the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport is the major hub in the state and offers flights to and from destinations throughout the U.S. and the world.  

Manchester

Manchester, New Hampshire, known as the state’s business capital, is the most populous city in New England. 

Manchester often appears at the top of U.S. lists ranking high in small business climate, affordability, upward mobility, and education level. Huntington Beach

Located in the heart of Orange County, Huntington Beach is a vibrant coastal community with a hometown feel. Locals enjoy mild weather, beautiful beaches, and some of the most desirable neighborhoods in the country. Visit the downtown city center for shopping and dining, take a stroll along the famous Huntington Beach Pier, and finish your day with a traditional beach bonfire. Located in Southeastern New Mexico, Lea County encompasses the communities of Buckeye, Caprock, Eunice, Hobbs, Humble City, Jal, Knowles, Lovington, McDonald, Maljamar, Monument, Oil Center, and Tatum. Stretch your legs at Harry McAdams State Park or plan a trip to the annual Lea County Fair and Rodeo, which showcases livestock competitions, a fiddler’s contest, extreme bull riding, carnival rides, and a concert series. Drop a fishing line in at Chaparral Park, a 20-acre lake in Lovington with 80 acres of parkland to explore. Just over an hour Southwest, explore more than 100 caves at Carlsbad Caverns National Park. Located in the Chihuahuan Desert, this unique national park provides both above-ground and below-ground adventure. Back in Hobbs, the Lea County Regional Airport provides flights to several destinations, including Houston and Denver.

Louisville

Conveniently located on the Ohio River, and commonly referred to as the “Gateway to the South,” Louisville combines a rich culture with big-city perks. Louisville proudly hosts multiple world class events each year, including the Kentucky Derby and Thunder Over Louisville, the largest annual fireworks display in the U.S. Other notable events include the Forecastle Festival, which draws 35,000 music fans to Louisville Waterfront Park, as well as the Kentucky Bourbon Festival in nearby Bardstown. Downtown’s West Main District, or “Museum Row,” features the Frazier History Museum, the Kentucky Science Center, the Louisville Slugger Museum, the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, and the Muhammad Ali Center. For those who prefer coworking spaces, Louisville provides more than 10 options, including the popular Launch Louisville and 31e. Located only a couple of miles from downtown, Muhammad Ali International Airport offers direct flights to dozens of fun destinations including Miami, Denver, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and more.

Lebanon

Located in Wilson County, Lebanon sits five miles from the Cumberland River and 25 miles east of Nashville. 

The city’s growing population and plentiful job opportunities create the ideal environment for working professionals and their families. Climb aboard the Music Star train for a quick commute to the nearby cities of Nashville, Mt. Juliet, and Donelson. Less than 30 minutes away, the Nashville International Airport offers direct flights to destinations including Los Angeles, Orlando, Philadelphia, and Salt Lake City.

Long Beach

Located just 30 minutes outside Los Angeles, Long Beach offers a diverse community with a wide range of amenities.

Ketchikan
