Mankato

As the county seat of Blue Earth County, Mankato is known as the Key City for its significance to industrial national, and international trade. Fans of the “Little House on the Prairie” books and television series may recognize the name of the town as the bigger city to which the family traveled from Walnut Grove. 

Today, Mankato is known for its outdoor recreational activities. Parks such as Minneopa State Park, Red Jacket Trail, Seven Mile Creek Park, and Reconciliation Park offer a variety of hiking, biking, and water activities. Snow ski enthusiasts enjoy the slopes in the winter at Mount Kato Ski Area. Plenty of offerings to keep children and families entertained include the Sibley Park Zoo, the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota, as well as many historical sites and museums. 

Adults can sample their favorite wines and beers at Javens Family Vineyard & Winery or Mankato Brewing. The Mogwai Collaborative is a workshare space that offers an open work area and private offices, meeting rooms, and networking opportunities. 

Located 75 miles from Mankato, the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport is the major hub in the state and offers flights to and from destinations throughout the U.S. and the world.  

Manchester

Manchester, New Hampshire, known as the state’s business capital, is the most populous city in New England. 

Manchester often appears at the top of U.S. lists ranking high in small business climate, affordability, upward mobility, and education level. Lima

Located in northwest Ohio, Lima is the county seat of Allen County. Situated on 1,500 acres, the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District contains 15 separate parks with recreational activities such as guided nature walks, archery, horseback riding, camping, and swimming. 

Relish Lima’s artistic culture and enjoy a play at the historic Ohio Theatre, a venue nearly 100 years old, or listen to the Lima Symphony Orchestra at Crouse Performance Hall. Tour the Allen County Museum, and learn about Lima’s rich locomotive history. For a rush of adrenaline, visit Limaland Motorsports Park, a 40-acre racetrack.

Logansport

Located in north-central Ohio, Marion offers the peaceful charm of a small town with the culture and entertainment of the big city. 

Visit Heritage Hall to check out the Marion County Historical Society and the Wyandot Popcorn Museum, or tour the nearby home of the 29th U.S. President, Warren G. Harding. Enjoy 12 miles of cycling, running, or walking on the Marion Tallgrass Trail, play a few rounds at Kings Mill Golf Club, then cool off in the pool or lazy river at the Lincoln Park Family Aquatic Center.

Little Rock

Little Rock, the state capital of Arkansas, is the largest city in Arkansas and offers a wide variety of activities, including sports, museums and culture, nightlife, and dining. 

Arkansas is known as The Natural State and Little Rock is situated in the geographic center of its beauty and natural wonder. Pinnacle Mountain State Park offers stunning views and hikes for those seeking a little adventure, while the River Market area offers a variety of things to do, from dining, shopping, and listening to live music, to visiting the William J. Clinton Presidential Library or playing in Riverfront Park.

Louisville

Conveniently located on the Ohio River, and commonly referred to as the “Gateway to the South,” Louisville combines a rich culture with big-city perks. Louisville proudly hosts multiple world class events each year, including the Kentucky Derby and Thunder Over Louisville, the largest annual fireworks display in the U.S. Other notable events include the Forecastle Festival, which draws 35,000 music fans to Louisville Waterfront Park, as well as the Kentucky Bourbon Festival in nearby Bardstown. Lebanon

Located in Wilson County, Lebanon sits five miles from the Cumberland River and 25 miles east of Nashville. 

The city’s growing population and plentiful job opportunities create the ideal environment for working professionals and their families. Climb aboard the Music Star train for a quick commute to the nearby cities of Nashville, Mt. Juliet, and Donelson. Picnic at Don Fox Community Park, splash in the on-site wading pool, or exercise at the 2.5-mile track and nine-station fitness center. Spanning 8,000 acres, explore Cedars of Lebanon State Forest.

Less than 30 minutes away, the Nashville International Airport offers direct flights to destinations including Los Angeles, Orlando, Philadelphia, and Salt Lake City.

Long Beach

Located just 30 minutes outside Los Angeles, Long Beach offers a diverse community with a wide range of amenities.

Located on the shores of Lake Erie in northeastern Ohio, Lorain is a diverse community with a friendly, small-town atmosphere.

Lincoln Park

As one of Michigan’s Downriver communities, Lincoln Park is located just 15 miles south of Detroit.

Located southeast of Terre Haute in the Bloomington metropolitan area, Linton’s ample outdoor recreation spaces provide fun for the whole family. League City

Lubbock
