Duncanville, nicknamed the “City of Champions”, sits just outside of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area and carries much history, even with its plentiful modern amenities. Fulshear

Eau Claire

The winters may be cold, but that doesn’t stop outdoor enthusiasts who love ice fishing and other winter sports. Historical attractions include the Chippewa Valley Museum, which houses a 1950s ice cream parlor and an 1880s mini train ride on the Chippewa Valley Railroad. The Chippewa Valley Regional Airport offers convenience of easy connections to major destinations in a smaller, less crowded airport, and the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport is less than 100 miles from Eau Claire.

Nearby, the East Texas Regional Airport offers flights from many airlines such as American, Alaskan, Envoy, and Qatar.

Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale is truly a water-lovers paradise, combining 23 miles of sandy beaches and hundreds of miles of inland canals, not to mention the city sits directly on the world-famous Intracoastal Waterway. In addition to offering an abundance of boating, deep sea fishing, and swimming opportunities, Ft. Lauderdale residents frequently use the city’s canals to pop over to dinner, hit the bars, or visit a museum via the Ft. Lauderdale Water Taxi and Pompano Beach Water Taxi. The water taxis, frequently operated by gondoliers in striped shirts, even stop at upscale hotels like The Ritz-Carlton, making for a highly unique staycation experience. Several major employers reside in Ft. Lauderdale, including Citrix Systems, DHL Express, Spirit Airlines, and the National Beverage Corp. Ft. Lauderdale is also home to several colleges and universities, such as Florida Atlantic University, Florida International University, Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, and Broward Community College. For a quick weekend getaway, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport offers daily flights to prime locations like New York City, Washington, D.C, Indianapolis, Toronto, and Nassau, while the nearby Miami International Airport, just 30 minutes away by car, provides flights to destinations around the world.

Claremore
