The Grand Opera House
Built in 1884, this historic downtown venue boasts one of the largest stages in the Southeast. Now operated by Mercer University, it serves as the primary venue for touring Broadway shows, the Macon Symphony Orchestra, and local theatrical productions.

The Douglass Theatre
The Douglass Theatre: Opened in 1921 by Black entrepreneur Charles Douglass, this historic theater hosted early performances by Cab Calloway, Duke Ellington, and James Brown. Today, it operates as a premier venue for community events, independent films, and live performances!
