Mayfield and Graves County is in the heart of west Kentucky. A community of 37,000, we are home to agriculture, arts & culture, family festivals, football championships, and welcoming community members who have called this quaint rural town home for generations.
We pride ourselves in our deep agricultural history, love for our friends and neighbors, and the strength of our local business and industry. We might more recently be known as the town that was struck by the largest tornado in Kentucky history on December 10, 2021, but we are proving to the world that we are a resilient people. As we build back our town, we are thinking about the future, the future of our children and their children. We have many opportunities and projects in play to keep on living, loving, laughing, and working, and we are looking for more families to join us as we design and build for an exciting and promising future.
From the festivities of Haunted Graves throughout the entire month of October, we celebrate and offer family-friendly activities to attend and participate in every week, all month long. Our annual Fancy farm Picnic is hosted the first Saturday of every August, bringing in politicians from across the state and country to enjoy BBQ and conversation with some of the most powerful leaders in our country. Prior to this weekend long event, we host a Farm-to-Table dinner, recognizing farmers within our community for their outstanding achievements in agriculture.
Come be a part of Mayfield and Graves County’s Young Professionals’ group as we learn about the community and partake in events with likeminded individuals. Or come to the local Rotary Club and be a part of an organization that among many other activities, supports scholarships for young students looking to go to college. If that isn’t your cup of tea, come on a duck or deer hunt with our local sportsmen where you are sure to have a blast… (literally). Enjoy our local restaurants where you can find some of the best BBQ in the region and our local shops where the custom crafts and designs are sure to fit any style.

Mayfield and Graves County are currently recruiting remote workers who:
Are employed full-time and able to relocate while retaining their current position, or
Are self-employed and able to relocate while retaining their current clients/portfolio
Earn at least $60,000 annually
Are 18 years or older
Currently reside outside the state of Kentucky
Must relocate primary residence to Graves County within 6 months
In order to be considered by Graves County, you must provide proof of the above eligibility criteria

How It Works
