Muncie expands $5,000 incentive program for remote workers to relocate

MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) — Muncie and Delaware County governments have expanded a program offering a $5,000 incentive to remote workers who relocate to Muncie addresses outside the city limits.

The Make My Move program, which is available in several cities nationally, aims to attract remote workers from out of state, boosting the local economy and community. Inside the Muncie city limits, the program was already available. Muncie, home to Ball State University, is about a 70-minute drive northeast of downtown Indianapolis.
