The beautiful Fairfax County lies in the Piedmont region, which boasts rolling hills and deep stream valleys such as Difficult Run and its tributaries. As you move westward, the hills give way to a flat, gentle valley which stretches to the Bull Run Mountains in neighboring Loudoun County. And if you get the itch for the city or need to commute for a meeting, no problem – Alexandria, Arlington, and D.C. are just minutes away.
