Description
Teach Kentucky: Launching Education Careers in Louisville Teach Kentucky is a nonprofit organization that recruits ambitious recent college graduates from across the country to launch their teaching careers in Louisville’s public schools. What began with just two teacher candidates has grown into an annual cohort of 40–45 aspiring educators who choose Louisville as the place to begin their journey. The program is designed not only to bring new talent into the classroom, but also to ensure they succeed and stay. Teach Kentucky understands the challenges that come with being a new teacher, especially in public education. That’s why they provide a robust support network, connecting participants with like-minded peers, experienced mentors, and a welcoming local community.
