 - The MI 10K Down Payment Assistance (DPA) Program helps homebuyers with low and moderate incomes by providing up to $10,000 toward down payment, closing costs, and prepaid expenses. This assistance, available statewide, comes in the form of an interest-free loan. This program must be combined with an MSHDA MI Home Loan and homebuyer education certificate of completion is required for all homebuyers. 

 - Through MI Tri-Share, the cost of an employee’s licensed child care is shared equally among the employer, the employee, and the State of Michigan - a three-way split. Family size and household income impact eligibility. 

 - Michigan’s PreK for All initiative includes multiple free high-quality PreK programs available to families including the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) and Head Start. Income and public assistance access impact eligibility. 

 - Michigan Reconnect is a last-dollar scholarship program that pays for you to attend your in-district community college tuition-free or offers a large tuition discount if you attend an out-of-district community college. Age, Michigan residency, and education level impact eligibility. 

 - The Michigan Achievement Scholarship is designed to help recent high school graduates in Michigan receive funds for continuing education. Eligible students could receive financial aid to attend a college or university with the Michigan Achievement Scholarship, or for a career training program with the Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship.
