A Fresh Start at a Different Pace

Moving to Tulsa through the Tulsa Remote program gave me the opportunity to step away from the fast pace of living in a major city and experience a slower, more intentional way of life. I was looking for a fresh start and some space to figure out what I wanted to do next, especially with my education and career. Even though I was moving somewhere new, I never felt like I was doing it completely on my own because I had the Tulsa Remote community supporting me along the way. Being in a smaller city gave me the room to slow down, explore different possibilities, and focus on what I wanted for my future.

One of my favorite things about Tulsa was how easy it was to enjoy nature. I loved having access to trails, parks, and outdoor spaces without having to drive an hour outside of the city just to get there. I could spend time outdoors, explore the city, and enjoy a different pace of life while still having plenty to do.

For me, Tulsa Remote was more than simply moving to a new city. It gave me the opportunity to step outside of what was familiar, meet new people, experience a different community, and have the space to focus on my education, career, and what I wanted for my future.
