Pop’s Place serves mesquite-grilled steak, fresh oysters, and Cajun favorites in a relaxed dining room with a cozy bar and a heated patio made for lingering. It has been voted Best Seafood in Texarkana five years running, and plates like crawfish grits, boudin dip, etouffee, gumbo, catfish, crab legs, and ribeye keep us coming back. Dinner gets lively around the bar, and prices land in the mid range.

We usually drive to 6701 E. Broad St., park nearby, and settle in for Wednesday trivia; wheelchair access is available. Hours run Wed to Sat from 5 PM, with Saturday starting at 3 PM.
