Weekend Adventures in Terre Haute! 🎃

One of my close friends grew up in Terre Haute and took us around her hometown for the weekend - it was so fun!

It was Indiana State University's Homecoming Weekend so we got coffee downtown at Federal Coffee while we watched the parade go by.

The annual Covered Bridge Festival was also happening - we explored the vendors, saw the old, but still in use, mill and of course, sampled many foods including Amish whoopie pies and pumpkin rolls.

We ate at my friend's favorite local spots, including Taj Mahal and Sushi Umi. They were 10/10. The Red Go Go roll at Sushi Umi was top tier.

She drove us around town and showed us the old historic homes, the schools she went to, local parks, the Wabash River and more!

Terre Haute has a lot going on! It was so fun to spend a weekend exploring.
