Fort Harrison State Park

Spanning 1,700 acres, "Fort Ben" is a massive natural oasis right in the middle of Lawrence. It features walking and jogging trails, paved bicycle paths, picnic sites, and access to Fall Creek for canoeing and fishing. In the fall, it is widely considered one of the best places in Central Indiana to view autumn foliage.
