About Rhea County
Located in east Tennessee, just along the Tennessee River, Rhea County consists of three major cities: Dayton, Spring City, and Graysville. The mountains of Walden Ridge provide a beautiful backdrop for an area where life moves at a slower pace. Take a trip to Blue Ridge Farms for fresh produce and fall fun, including hay rides and a corn maze. Watts Bar Lake, a sprawling 38,000-acre nearby lake, is one of the state’s best sport fishing areas while Crystal Springs Skate Center offers a year-round indoor rink for skating fun for the whole family. The area offers both public and private schools, along with Bryan College, a four-year Christian liberal arts college. Main Street Dayton offers a charming, historic experience with local shopping, dining, and even a local brewpub.
