I'm a teacher. I'm a storm chaser. I've felt constrained by the hills in Pennsylvania. I have been in Palco, KS since July 2025. I get to teach at an amazing school in Rooks County, KS in a wonderful, supportive, and empathetic school community. I have been welcomed with open arms and I welcome them as well as my experience with the same enthusiasm. I've been able to pursue photography all around the state (plenty of samples included), storm chasing, and teaching junior high social studies in a small and close-knit community. I couldn't tell you how much I appreciate the opportunity to do this via Make My Move and Rooks County. 

I came out here with a car full of my stuff and dreams to resume my life and I'm doing that and so much more now that I'm here. (I do highly recommend a moving truck...but the fact I came out here with just my car full of my stuff was my choice). 

If you want a quiet and peaceful community with many ways to explore the region around you, I encourage you to consider Northwestern Kansas!

Re-Establishing Myself, Finding My Peace

My Family and I are so grateful to have moved to the little town of Oberlin 🙏🏽 we found peace here , lots of amazing new opportunities and people to start life back over after a divorce. make my move made it possible and omg we are so thankful as Kansas is a most definitely beautiful place. Relocating to Oberlin Ks 

My family and I been never happier since we was accepted to relocate by MAKE MY MOVE. Moving to Kansas was a big step however this new community has been a true blessing. In the small city of Oberlin Ks where there is no fast life everybody is friendly and very helpful. We found peace here. It is a huge difference as we are now actually can afford a stable lifestyle. The weather is beautiful. All the incentives that MAKE MY MOVE provided were sincerely appreciated. And really came in handy. I can’t stress enough the amount of help we have received and how it feel so great to be able to start over. We are very grateful that we made the decision to relocate.
