Housing in Noblesville, Indiana

It had been nearly 20 years since I had lived in the Midwest. Having grown up in Texas, where it feels like perpetual summer, experiencing all four seasons was always something I looked forward to. When I discovered the MakeMyMove program, I was excited by the opportunity to relocate to an area I desired while also being closer to my grandchildren.

Now that I am at the end of my experience with the program, would I make the same decision again? Absolutely.

There were a few hiccups along the way, but they were related more to personnel changes than to the program itself. Overall, the process was smooth and well organized.

I would encourage anyone considering the program to take full advantage of the information provided about prospective communities. We chose Noblesville and quickly learned that the program gave us an incredibly accurate picture of the area, about 95% of what we experienced firsthand. The only thing missing was information about some of the newest updates to the scenic and recreational areas.

One of the program's perks was receiving gift cards to use locally. Ours were primarily for restaurants, and we joked that we ate our way through Noblesville. While we appreciated that opportunity, it would have been nice to receive a few gift cards for local shops, attractions, and community events as well.

We are currently in the process of purchasing a home in the Danville area. However, if our family had not relocated, we would have happily settled in Noblesville because it offered everything we were looking for in a community. We were even able to continue our work with foster children.

If you're considering making a move, take the leap. It's absolutely worth it.

This was the best and biggest decision I've made making the move from Irvine/Lake Forest, CA to Noblesville, IN. I've lived in SoCal all my life and needed a change after my divorce as I just never felt like California was the place for me. It has been almost a month since I've moved here and the people I've met and the community is what I was looking for which was the small town inclusive type of community. It has such a great energy and atmosphere. Adrienne from the Chamber of Commerce has been extremely helpful with my transition here as well. Housing recommendations definitely ask the rep assigned to each city for help and advice on what you are looking for and start looking while you wait for your application/ offer letter to be approved and sent.

If you want to make that leap of faith MakeMyMove really is the way to go because I moved within 24 hours after accepting my offer letter out of the top 8 cities I was still trying to decide granted the only thing is 40 hour drive is definitely tough doing it in 3 days.

For my friends back in Cali who are looking to move I have already referred a couple of them to this program as it is a great way for them to really get a better understanding of each city/state instead of moving blind or trying to figure it out on their own.
