In February we had a string of unbelievably warm days - perfect for a walk downtown to enjoy a beer at Sig Luscher, Frankfort’s original hometown brewery. Here’s a bit of my 20-minute perambulation from South Frankfort to Sig’s.

It’s OK to have more than one Andy’s post here. The reality is if you go to Andy’s on a Saturday morning, you’re likely to run into someone you know. The same can be said for Poppy’s and B’s. I can walk to both of those bakeries, as well; however not as quickly as I can walk to Andy’s. It’s all about location. Downtown and South Frankfort walkable, mixed-use neighborhoods. Sometimes days go by without needing a car. I’ll put it this way: there are more days that I don’t need a car than there are days I don’t “need” something from Andy’s.
