Georgetown in Floyd County boasts one of the few remaining drive in movie theaters. Take the family to the Polly Freeze then come to the theater at sunset. Great summer fun.

This program helped up leave Asheville after Hurricane Helene. Gave us needed support although it was really unfortunately you can only qualify one person per household as me and my partner both qualify. BOGO for the program. If you can live at Charlestown Crossing Way - Apartments, it's incredible value! The food is amazing compared to anywhere I have lived which was very unexpected. Great being in bourbon county. I missed the hard winters of the Midwest - we got a foot of snow our first couple weeks here.

Early Spring in Floyd County

Here is the heart of Floyd County. Beautiful, historic and hip downtown New Albany. It has small town charm, great restaurants and easy parking. It's on the Ohio riverfront with a bandstand and a scenic bike/walking path. There's upscale dining, casual pizza and beer and everything in between. And to work it all off, there's a modern YMCA.

The best part for me is that just 10 minutes away, where I live, there's farms and fresh air. Floyd County is the best of both worlds.
