The State of Florida is recruiting new police officers with signing bonuses up to $5,000. Launched in 2022, the Florida Law Enforcement Recruitment Bonus Payment Program has since relocated more than 430 officers from across the country.

Minimum eligibility requirements include:

Gain full-time employment as a certified law enforcement officer with a Florida criminal justice agency on or after July 1, 2022

Never previously employed as a law enforcement officer in Florida

Maintain continuous full-time employment for at least two consecutive years
