Description
The City of Coconut Creek is recruiting new police officers with a signing bonus up to $10,000. Coconut Creek is home to 60,000 and located in Broward County, 35 miles north of Miami.
According to the application, interested candidates must have completed one of the following prior to employment:
Successful completion of basic recruit training at a certified Police Academy and possess a current certification from the State of Florida as a Law Enforcement Officer as described under Chapter 943, Florida Statutes (F.S.) OR
Currently enrolled in a State of Florida Police Academy and will have successfully completed all required profiles of that Academy and will be able to obtain a Florida Law Enforcement Certification prior to employment OR
Successful completion of basic recruit training at a certified Police Academy (out of state) with the ability to obtain a certification from the State of Florida as a Law Enforcement Officer as described under Chapter 943, Florida Statutes (F.S.)
