Old Mill Canoe Rental sits on the Blue River in Fredericksburg and we get set up for easy 6 and 12 mile float trips. Kayaks or canoes can be rented, then we get shuttled to calm, scenic water with shaded banks. Families show up, weekend paddlers mingle with day-trippers from Louisville and Southern Indiana, and kids often ride along.

It’s a budget friendly outing with straightforward check-in. Most of us pull in off US 150 and park on site, then morning launches set the pace. Hours run seasonal, with April weekends starting things and May through July open daily.
