Sunset Zoo is a modest outdoor zoo in a park-like setting at 2333 Oak St in Manhattan. Paths wind between spaced-out habitats for an easy walk. We are often greeted by close-up views of big cats, red pandas, and flamingos, with the tiger habitat getting extra attention.

Entry is kept budget friendly, with adults around $5–6 and kids $3–4. Parking is easy in the main lot off Oak St, with overflow nearby. It’s a common stroller route, and the exhibits are grouped by region, so families move naturally and kids stay engaged.
