Riley County Historical Museum sits at 2309 Claflin Rd, where we’re invited to discover the stories behind the streets we walk. Exhibits span pioneer days to today across three galleries, and the setting stays quiet. We’re welcomed for free Tuesday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 2 to 5 p.m.

We’re helped by staff who know Riley County well. The archive and library are used by appointment, and guided tours of the Goodnow House are scheduled the same way. It’s a common stop for families, school groups, and anyone digging into Manhattan history.
