Purple Power Play is the region’s largest K‑State pep rally in Blue Earth Plaza, set for 2026 with the countdown already on. Vendor booths ring the plaza and event programming fills the outdoor footprint as we’re gathered in purple to mark the first Kansas State Football home opener.

It’s held in downtown Manhattan, so it’s easy to wander in on foot and fold it into dinner nearby. Families spread out near the action, students and alumni mingle, and school spirit gets shared as a ritual before game day.
