Flint Hills Discovery Center brings the Tallgrass Prairie inside with interactive exhibits, a prairie playscape, and a 4D film that pulls us into the Flint Hills story. Three floors are explored in 1 to 2 hours, and it’s a common stop for families, school groups, and curious adults.

Hours Tue to Sat 10 to 5, Sun noon to 5; admission adults 12, youth 7, under 2 free. Free parking sits in the southeast lot, plus street spots and a garage with two free hours. It sits centrally and is walkable from downtown, with weekdays mellow and weekends lively.
