Wentz Memorial Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-71 public course with Bermuda fairways stretching about 6,300 yards beside Lake Ponca. The 125-acre layout includes a driving range with practice tees open from morning to sunset. We are joined by regulars, seniors, women’s groups, league players, and visitors, and the mix appreciates lake views, steady conditions, and a layout that welcomes many skill levels.

Cool fall mornings are made for golf here. Walking the course is common. Set on L.A. Cann Drive near the water, we are usually arriving by car and starting with a bucket before an unhurried round.
