Attucks Community Center is a meaningful landmark in Ponca City’s African American history. Set in a 1926 school at 1001 South 12th Street, the surviving auditorium from the Attucks School still hosts gatherings that reflect that story.

Programs range from educational and recreational activities to youth mentoring, heritage events, and community-service projects. We’re often welcomed for back-to-school help, clothing outreaches, workshops for young Black men, MLK and Black History Month events, and rentals like receptions, funeral dinners, quinceañeras, and meetings.
