I first want to say that I truly love the concept of Make My Move. It was a huge benefit to our family when we were looking to relocate due to the high cost of living in our previous city. We were searching for a smaller, more affordable community, and it was great to see several options available in the area we were targeting.

One of the biggest bonuses for us was the moving reimbursement. Moving across the country is incredibly expensive, and we hadn’t fully budgeted for all of those costs. The support from Make My Move in that area made a significant difference and helped ease a lot of stress.

Another major perk, especially as a remote worker, was having access to an office space. That turned out to be essential for me during the first month or two while we were waiting on our home and Wi-Fi setup. Having a professional space to work from during that transition period was incredibly helpful.

The only real disappointment we experienced wasn’t with Make My Move, but rather with the county. We qualified for some additional perks and incentives through the county, but unfortunately, we didn’t receive most of them. I followed up several times, but often the response was that tickets were no longer available or the event was already sold out—it felt like a bit of an afterthought on their part.

That said, our overall experience has been very positive. Make My Move delivered on what was promised, and we’re grateful for the opportunity it gave our family to start fresh in a new community.
