December 4th, 2024 the Hutchinson YMCA took a big leap forward in their mission to serve Reno County residents (and beyond). With the help of a nearly 10 acre land donation from Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System, the Hutchinson YMCA broke ground on the site for the new 75,000 square foot facility. 

This $20 million+ investment will allow the YMCA to provide more services for their growing membership base and, as Ronn McMahon, President and CEO of the Greater Wichita YMCA, said best "There are going to be so many kids that are going to win their first ribbon or medal for playing basketball, and they're going to lose, and they're going to be surrounded by caring adults that instill YMCA values of caring, respect, honesty and responsibility."
