Lomira sits at the intersection of three state highways and Interstate 41 -- well-connected by road in every direction and positioned conveniently between the Fox Valley and Milwaukee metro. The village has agricultural roots and a meaningful industrial presence, including Kondex Corporation and one of the largest printing facilities in the Western Hemisphere.
Lomira is in an agricultural area, which is reflected in the nature of many of the businesses in the village. In 1985, printing became a significant presence with the opening of the Quad Graphics production plant, the largest single printing facility in the Western Hemisphere. In 2007, Kondex Corporation, a farm machinery and equipment manufacturer, opened a facility in a newly created industrial park.
Housing is affordable and the community is close-knit. Students attend the Lomira School District, a small rural district known for its strong community culture.
A great fit for buyers who value highway accessibility, a genuine small-town feel, and a central location that keeps multiple metro areas within easy reach.
