Wesselman Woods is the largest urban old growth forest in the United States, about 240 acres of lowland forest. Over four miles of trails invite unhurried hikes and birding. Families often gather at the 5 acre Nature Playscape with the Arwood Family Treehouse and the Bernhardt Family Bird Sanctuary.

Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for ages 3 to 12, free for members and children under 3. Parking sits at the nature center lot, and several nearby paths handle strollers and wheelchairs.
