I moved back to Newburgh from the central coast to work for Cottage Wealth Advisors, and it's turned out to be a great fit. I enjoy the riverfront with coal barges heading up and down stream. There are also plenty of new parks being built. It's low crime, has a good high schools, and a tight-knit, family-friendly vibe.

Housing runs pricier than the Indiana average, and it's quiet rather than lively, but you're minutes from Evansville if you want more going on. For a low-key, small-town base with easy city access, it's been an easy place to settle into.
