Does anyone have experience with Detroit property taxes, like appealing an assessment, buying in an NEZ neighborhood, or being surprised by a significant increase after purchasing? We’re looking at homes that have been recently flipped, and it seems difficult to predict what the actual monthly payment will be once the property taxes are reassessed.
