The Monon Trail is a former railway converted into a 27-mile paved path, and it serves as Carmel’s alternative main street. Far more than a recreation trail, it is a vital transit corridor used by bike commuters, runners, and pedestrians to safely navigate from the northern suburbs all the way down into downtown Indianapolis without competing with vehicle traffic.
Ride, walk, or run the Monon Trail!
