In Red River Gorge, the Gladie Visitor Center is where days often start. Interactive exhibits, a small gift shop, and a pioneer cabin sit by parking off KY-715, with picnic tables and trail access. Entry and day hiking are free, and passes apply to overnight backcountry camping 10 PM to 6 AM. Day hikers, climbers, backpackers, and families stop for maps, closures, and updates by phone during open hours.
