Norman No. 1 Museum and Derrick

Neodesha is the historic birthplace of the Mid Continent Oil Field. This highly engaging local museum features a massive sixty seven foot derrick replica marking the spot of the first commercially successful oil well drilled in 1892. The grounds also display pioneer tools, historic photographs, and native artifacts that preserve the regional heritage.
